Auguste Toulmouche (1829-1890), French painter, master of the salon painting.
He was an artist depicting beautiful women in the interior. Toulmouche was born in Nantes on September 21, 1829 and died in Paris on October 16, 1890. He was a disciple of Mark Gabriel Charles Gleyre (1806-1874). In Auguste first exhibition in the Salon of 1848, in 1852 he won a medal third class, second class medal in 1861, and a third class medal in 1878. In 1870, received the honor Toulmouche Kavalera Legion of Honor.
